Process for requesting a Personal Search of the Local Land Charges Register

Personal Search requests are made on a appointment basis. Please note that searches for the Salisbury area are now dealt with by the Bradley Road, Trowbridge office

Appointment slots are as follows:-

Monday to Friday : - 10am to 12pm - 2pm to 4pm

All requests to access the Local Land Charges Register will be accepted via one of the following methods:-

1. E-mail direct to Local Land Charges e-mail box
2. Telephone
3. Fax

Please forward your request to the relevant area office below :-

The onus is on the company/person to ensure that the correct address and appropriate plan showing the site to be searched against edged in red/thick black line is submitted within 24 hours of the agreed request.

Important – if no plan is received within the 24 hour period the appointment will be deemed cancelled and the company/person notified accordingly.  A new appointment will be necessary

This process is being adopted in order to reduce staff time in chasing up companies for plans etc.

Bookings can be made up to ONE  week in advance but all booking requests  must give at least 48 hours (two working days) notice
