South Wiltshire Core Strategy RSS Changes

Following the Government's intention to rapidly abolish Regional Spatial Strategies (RSSs) and Regional Housing Figures, the Inspector has provided all representors the opportunity to provide additional comments on this issue.

The Programme Officer requested that all comments be sent to him by Monday 21st June 2010. A copy of the Programme Officer's letter to representors is available to download below.

Programme Officer's reply to the response from Wiltshire Council

On 21 June, 2010, Wiltshire Council submitted a response indicating the council's position in respect of the Government's intention to abolish the RSS and the implications for the Inspector's Report on the South Wiltshire Core Strategy. The Programme Officer's reply, which is available to download below, outlines the current situation and formalises the delay in the production of the Inspector's Report.
