About this service

The bins are emptied every two weeks and the contents turned into compost. The ‘Warrior Compost’ is a medium grade particle size organic peat-free compost and can be bought at all the Household Recycling centres.

Anyone in North Wiltshire can register their interest to join the scheme but it will only be introduced in areas when there is sufficient demand.

To find out if the scheme is in your area, click on the link below and follow the instructions. If the search doesn't return a collection day and week number, then the service is not available in your area.

The Council offer a fortnightly collection of green garden waste from a 180 litre wheeled bin, for an annual charge of £30.00. The Council also offers reusable green sacks to residents who cannot manage a wheeled bin. These are available for an annual charge of £34.65 per three bags. Please note these services carry an annual charge.
