Recycling
It is down to each of Wiltshire's individuals to try and reduce the amount of waste they create. With more and more new products, packaging and services available than ever before, it is difficult to see how we can do this without changing our lifestyles dramatically.
In Wiltshire we are now recycling and composting about 40% of household waste, but we all now need to make a bigger effort to recycle even more and reduce the 60% of waste that still ends up in landfill sites.
Recycling as much of our waste as possible remains a priority.
