Your waste and recycling collection service is changing from March all waste and recycling collections will be fortnightly.

Your new service is be:

Household waste                                    Black box recycling

The new waste and recycling collection service will mean additional recycling services and fortnightly refuse collections for all residents.

Plastic bottle and cardboard recycling collections

Everyone in Wiltshire can now recycle plastic bottles and cardboard from home using your blue lidded bins.

In Wiltshire we now recycle over 700 tonnes of plastic bottles and cardboard each month.

If you would like a new blue lidded bin but not yet received on please contact the council.

Non-chargeable garden waste collections

If you have signed up before 1 December 2011 to receive this service, your new green lidded bin will be delivered from February onwards.

You will also be sent a collection calendar through the post to advise on your new collection dates. We will be delivering bins right up until collections start

Missed the deadline?

You can still opt-in to this service for your new green lidded bin to be delivered in Summer 2012.

If you already signed up or have a garden waste bin that is collected by the council you do not need to register again.

Fortnightly household waste collections

Those residents in north and south Wiltshire will move to a fortnightly collection of household waste 2.2mb from March 2012. Residents in the East and West already have this service.

Leaflets, collection calendars and more information will be sent out to every resident over the coming months before their collections change.
