Wednesday 18 April 2017 is National Offer Day for Primary Schools

If you have submitted an online application for a primary or junior school place before the national deadline of 15 January 2016, you will be able to view the outcome of your application online from Tuesday 18 April 2017 after 7am. Please note, decision(s) will not be available before then. You will need your username and password so you can view the outcome of your application. If you have forgotten your username or password, you will be able to reset it by clicking on the relevant link. Both links can be found on the home screen of the online application system.

All online applicants will also be sent a letter confirming the outcome of the application. Letters will be posted out second class on 18 April 2017, so applicants should receive their letters within a couple of days. No decision on applications will be conveyed over the telephone.

If you have submitted an online application, you must accept or decline the offer of a school place by Tuesday 2 May 2017 using the online system. The online system will close at midnight on 2 May 2017.

If you have submitted a paper application for a primary or a junior school place before the national deadline of 15 January 2017, the outcome of your application will be posted out to you second class on 18 April 2017. This is the date that the letter will be posted and not the date that you will receive it. No decisions on applications will be conveyed over the telephone.

To accept or decline your place, please complete the acceptance/decline slip that is attached to the letter and return it no later than 2 May 2017.

Details on how to appeal for any school which your child has been refused a place at, as well as details on how to add your child's name to the waiting list, will be contained within the outcome letter, which will be posted to you on 18 April 2017. Find out more about appeals.

Only one offer of a school place for each child can be held at any one time. This means that if you submit a new application for your child, your new preferences will automatically supersede any preferences named on your earlier application. If any of your new preferences are agreed, the place previously offered will automatically be withdrawn.

Please note: applications submitted between 16 January 2017 and 25 April 2017 will receive written notification on 31 May 2017.
