The Disabled Student Allowance is a grant to help meet the extra course costs a higher education student can face as a direct result of a disability and is part of the Student Finance package of funding.

Student Finance is the name for the administration of higher education student loans and grants.

Wiltshire Council's Student Finance Team will no longer be administering student finance for any student from 25 February 2011. After this date, Student Finance England will be administering applications and queries from both new and continuing students and all enquiries should be made directly to Student Finance England, by telephoning 0845 300 5090.
