Reasons to apply online for a school place

The process is quick and easy.
You will be given confirmation of the information you have supplied and a quick acknowledgement that your application has been received.
You can make changes to your online application up until the deadline of 12 noon on
- 15 January 2012 for primary schools
- 31 October 2011 for secondary schools
You will be guided through the application process to make sure that the information you are giving is all that is needed for your application to be processed and the system helps you by checking for errors.
All you need to apply online is a computer which has access to the internet. You can access your application at home, at work, at a library - from any computer with a connection to the internet.
The system is secure. No one can see information that they are not entitled to see.
You can access online admissions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and there is no risk of any postal delays or applications getting lost.

your child has a statement of Special Educational Needs (SEN). All admissions to schools for students who have a statement of SEN are handled by Central SEN Services at Wiltshire Council. You should contact them directly on 01225 718095.
you are applying for a place at a school in Wiltshire but live in another county. You must make your application to your own local authority.
you have already completed and sent in a paper application form for a school place, unless your preferences have changed and you wish to update your application.
