Applications Made Outside of the Normal Year of Entry

Transfers
You should not remove your child from school until a place has been secured at an alternative school which can be taken without a break in attendance. In cases where the transfer is not related to a house move, this action should be taken as a last resort, only after contacting the current school.
If you are moving house, applications should be made where possible, prior to the move date.
Voluntary Controlled and Community Schools
Applications made to voluntary controlled and community schools will not be considered more than a term in advance and in most circumstances, admittance will be from the beginning of a term (September, January and April).
