How does the Curriculum module work?
The Curriculum module applies to Secondary Schools and Middle deemed Secondary Schools that use a computerised timetable system linked to their management information system. Subjects taught in school must be mapped to DCSF Subject Codes in order for accurate data to be collected for the return.
Qualifications Module
A pro forma for collecting the information required for the qualification
module can be downloaded using the
Schools workforce census qualificatiosn pro forma pro forma document. 63kb The module looks at all NVQ
level 4 qualifications or higher for all teachers and TAs who specialise
in maths and science. Like curriculum once this information has been collected in doesn’t need to be
asked for again. When updating any current staff qualification information no validation is needed
however all new starters will need their to supply copies of any qualifications in order for this to
happen.
