Local services relating to old areas still remain and those have yet to be made uniform across Wiltshire
Service, charges and policies reflect the differing priorities of the outgoing councils and, although plans are in place to harmonise them, this will take time. Variations in services will be harder to justify once everyone is paying the same Council Tax.
Ambitious plans are in place but everything takes time and money. We are being systematic and thorough (which takes time) and prudent with council tax payers money to ensure changes are delivered cost effectively.
