First aid

Wiltshire Council offers a wide range of first aid training options to suit the needs of organisations of any size.

Paediatric first aid

This is a blended 1-day training program that incorporates both knowledge and practical application in a small group, instructor-led environment.

How would you react when a baby or infant suffers illness, trauma or distress? Could you save a life? This course is all about being prepared for possible scenarios that we all hope will never happen and learning the skills to cope and react calmly and swiftly when an infant or small child is in need of basic first aid. The course satisfies the guidelines and criteria laid down by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted.

"The tailoring you did to make the course relevant to our organisation, really went down very well as did the "what do you need to know" approach rather than going through a  whole series of information which would not be directly relevant."
