If you are looking for financial help for your studies at university and you are currently living in Wiltshire you can apply to the County Council’s Student Finance Team.
Details of Service
The package of financial help available to higher education students is known as Student Finance and includes the following assistance:
- a non-income assessed loan for all or part of the course tuition fees
- a partially income assessed maintenance loan
- an income-assessed maintenance grant of up to £2,835
- grants for students with dependants (including child care)
- non-income assessed Disabled Student Allowance
Needs
Application forms for student finance are available from Mid March 2008 (Form PN1). You can apply online or download a form from Student Finance Direct. Supplies of paper forms, notes and information booklets are distributed to all schools and colleges in wiltshire and to many schools and colleges close to Wiltshire where Wiltshire residents are in attendance. Forms may also be obtained from Wiltshire County Council by telephoning 01225 713000.
