Students are encouraged to get involved with the extensive range of clubs and activities which schools have to offer, which take place within the lunch hour and after school.
These can include Art Clubs, Debating Societies, the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, Drama, Chess, Computer, Maths, Football, Netball, etc. These activities are in addition to a wide range of musical, dramatic and sporting activities, which are already included in the Curriculum.
The Youth Development Service provides and supports a range of educational services and social activities for children and young people.
Through a variety of youth clubs, centres, specialist projects and adventure playgrounds, many run in partnership with local voluntary organisations. We offer children and young people organised activities, expeditions, visits and trips away from home.
