the story of this market town. Displays focus on Alfred the Great, Brunel's
railway, the town's cheese market and Victorian life.

photographic collection.

Fox Talbot
Museum, Lacock. This
exhibition tells the story of WiliamFox Talbot and his development of
the positive / negative photographic process. The Gallery has regular
photographic exhibitions.

Trust members free).
Lackham Museum,
Lacock. Sited in
the grounds of Lackham College and housed in traditional buildings, this
collection focuses on rural trades and crafts, the farming year and domestic
rural life.
