Bradford on Avon Museum. This museum displays aspects of the natural and historical heritage of the town and the villages of the former Bradford Hundred. The reconstructed late eighteenth century pharmacy shop forms the museum's centre piece.

Open: Easter- Oct, Wed-Sat, 10.30am-12.30pm, Sun, 2-4pm. Nov-Easter, Wed-Sun 2-4pm, Sat 10.30am-12.30pm and 2-4pm (01225 863280)

Trowbridge Museum. The exhibits here tell the story of this woollen town, its people and history. Among the displays are working textile machinery and reconstructions of a weaver's cottage and shearman's shop.

Warminster Dewey Museum. The collections range widely from the Iron Age to the present day. The museum is home to the Victor Manley geology collection and has much local research material.

Open: Mon & Tues 10am-5pm, Wed 10am-1pm, Thurs & Fri 10am-7pm, Sat 9am-4pm. Closed Bank Holidays.
