Wiltshire Community Safety Partnership
The Wiltshire Community Safety Partnership is working to address community safety issue across the county. It’s members include Wiltshire Police, Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service, the Probation service, the Youth Offending Team and Wiltshire Council.
Priorities for the Wiltshire Community Safety Partnership are:
- Work with communities to provide re-assurance, improve neighbourhoods, and increase a feel of community safety
- Reduce re-offending by joining up services such as housing, education and health
- Tackle domestic violence
- Reduce alcohol related crime and harm
- Reduce the number of road traffic accidents in Wiltshire
Over the past year a strategic assessment has been undertaken to ensure the needs of the county are understood and plans put in place to address those needs. A better working relationship with the Wiltshire Criminal Justice Board has helped raise public confidence and reassurance.
