The Wiltshire Environment Alliance
The Wiltshire Environmental Alliance brings together the public, private, voluntary and community sectors to carry forward environmental and climate change issues across the county.
Priorities for the Environmental Alliance are:
- Help develop and promote a vision for a sustainable future for wildlife and the people of Wiltshire
- Identify priorities for Wiltshire
- Provide a forum for debate and ownership of the environmental input into the Sustainable Community Strategy and LAA
- Monitor movement towards the vision and against environmental national indicators
- Enable accountability of the partnership to the wider Wiltshire environmental network
- Build partnerships, pool ideas and share issues.
- Provide leadership and focus
- Promote action
Current membership includes:
- The Wiltshire Wildlife Trust
- Wessex Water
- Natural England
- NHS Wiltshire and,
- Wiltshire Council.
