The Wiltshire resilient communities partnership
The Resilient Communities Partnership aims to carry forward community empowerment and cohesion issues across the county. It has an agreed mission statement: "Assist people and communities to become more active and confident in voicing and addressing their own needs and ambitions."
Priorities for the Resilient Communities Partnership are:
- Engage all our communities in Wiltshire, inclusively, to ascertain their priorities and empower them to be part of the delivery of solutions. This will make their community a better place to live and or work.
- Enhance the democratic framework in Wiltshire by which people can participate in their local area and feel they can influence the decisions made in their locality
- Build a vibrant, strong and influential third sector across Wiltshire between the public sector, voluntary and community sector
