
The Wiltshire Strategic Economic Partnership
The Wiltshire Strategic Economic Partnership (WSEP) aims to promote sustainable economic development across Wiltshire.
It’s members come from the private, voluntary and public sectors. One of its key activities is to monitor the delivery of the economic aspects of the Local Agreement for Wiltshire (LAW) to ensure that the agreed actions are achieved.
The priorities for the Wiltshire Strategic Economic Partnership are:
- Improve business productivity through innovation
- Work with the military to assess the impact of the military changes on Wiltshire
- Improving work opportunities by raising skills and working with hard to reach groups
- Broaden the employment base for the county
- Work with the private sector to develop work spaces
- Improve journey time reliability on strategic routes
- Research how key settlements evolve to become thriving and vibrant economic centres
