Radon Policy

LOLER- Lifts Policy

This policy descries the steps Wiltshire Council Housing will take to maintain and inspect the lifting equipment in communal and domestic properties it manages. This includes the maintenance and inspection schedule, and the ways it will provide assurance to show it is meeting the regulations required.

Fire Safety Policy

This policy describes the obligations and responsibilities Wiltshire Council is under where fire safety is concerned. It must carry out fire risk assessments for the communal areas of the buildings it manages, and take actions to identify, mitigate and manage risks associated with fire in those places. It sets out the assurances and evidence it will provide to show the regulations are met.

Good Neighbourhoods Management Policy & Procedure

This policy sets out Wiltshire Council's approach to dealing sensitively and proportionately with neighbourhood issues resulting from a person's behaviour or action that are not deemed to be Anti-Social Behaviour or a tenancy breach. It is designed to run alongside the Anti-Social Behaviour, Tenancy Management and Domestic Abuse policies.

Domestic Abuse Policy & Procedure

This policy sets out the level of service we aim to provide to residents affected by Domestic Abuse. At all times it is the intention of the council to increase safety and housing security for victims/survivors and their children/dependants. It sets out how Wiltshire Council Housing staff will support individuals or households when they are made aware of domestic abuse cases, and provides tenants with clear reassurance about what to expect from the council's response.

Responsive Repairs Policy

This policy outlines the actions Wiltshire Council will take to manage the repairs and maintenance service it provides, including: describing the differences between categories of repairs and maintenance, identifying timescales for types of repairs, providing clear guidance on which party(council or tenant) is responsible for certain repairs within a tenant's home, offering guidance and assistance throughout the repairs process.

Disabled Adaptations Policy

This policy focuses on meeting the individual needs of tenants who need assistance via an adaptation due to a health need or disability that has had significant impact on their ability to live independently or receive care within the home and that are of a long term nature substantial enough to require adaptations to the home.
