Section 58 - Kennet Way Trowbridge

New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Section 58, Notice of Substantial Road Works

1. Three months advance notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to carry out substantial road works.
2. The streets in which these works will take place are Kennet Way, Hammond Way and Canal road., Trowbridge The work is expected to affect the entire carriageway of:
   Kennet Way, from its junction with Canal Road for approximately 20 meters in a southeasterly direction. Coordinates: Start X-386029 Y=159615 - End X=386030 Y=159594.
   Hammond Way, from its junction with Canal Road for approximately 20 meters in a northwesterly direction. Coordinates: Start X=386013 Y 159664 - End X=386003 Y=159691.
   Canal Road from a point approximately 40 meters West of its junction with B3105 for approximately 100 meters in an easterly direction. Coordinates: X=385967 Y=159630 - End X=386063 Y= 159642
3. Work is expected to commence on the 2 June 2025 and the restriction will come into force on the 9 July 2025
4. The works notified will include the following: Carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance works.
5. Subject to the exemptions in the Acts and Regulations under it, no road or street works may be executed for a period of two years from completion of the works described in Paragraph 4 without the consent of the said highway authority, which is not to be unreasonably withheld.
