Section 58 - A4, Corsham

New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Section 58, Notice of Substantial Road Works

1. Three months' advance notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to carry out substantial road works.
2. The streets in which these works will take place are A4, Corsham. The work is expected to affect the entire carriageways of:
   1. Pickwick (A4), Corsham, from its junction with Hartham Lane for approximately 8m in a South-Westerly direction. Coordinates: Start X = 386777, Y = 171038. End X = 386820, Y = 171080.
   2. Chippenham Road (A4), Corsham, from its junction with Hartham Lane for approximately 50m in a North-Easterly direction. Coordinates: Start X = 386777, Y = 171038. End X = 386820, Y = 171080.
3. Work is expected to commence on the 11 July 2025 and the restriction will come into force on the 12 August 2025.
4. The works notified will include the following: Carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance works.
5. Subject to the exemptions in the Acts and Regulations under it, no road or street works may be executed for a period of two years from completion of the works described in Paragraph 4 without the consent of the said highway authority, which is not to be unreasonably withheld.
