Section 58 - Coped Hall Royal Wootton Bassett

New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Section 58, Notice of Substantial Road Works

1. Three months advance notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to carry out substantial road works.
2. The streets in which these works will take place are Coped Hall, Royal Wootton Bassett. The work is expected to affect the entire carriageway of:
   1. High Street A3102, from its junction with Coped Hall for approximately 25 meters in a South Westerly direction. Coordinates: start X: 407472 Y: 183579, end X: 407491 Y: 183594
   2. Malmesbury Road, from its junction with Coped Hall for approximately 40m in a North Westerly direction. Coordinates: start X: 407439 Y: 183651, end X: 407486 Y: 183626
   3. Coped Hall, from its junction with A3102 for approximately 60m in a North Easterly direction. Coordinates: start X: 407538 Y: 183650, end X: 407532 Y: 183593
   4. A3102, from its junction with Coped Hall for approximately 620m in a South Easterly direction. Coordinates: start X: 407538 Y:183593, end X: 407989 Y:183159
3. Work is expected to commence on the 7 June 2025 and the restriction will come into force on the 12 August 2025
4. The works notified will include the following: Carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance works.
5. Subject to the exemptions in the Acts and Regulations under it, no road or street works may be executed for a period of two years from completion of the works described in Paragraph 4 without the consent of the said highway authority, which is not to be unreasonably withheld.
