Salisbury District Local Plan 2011
Status
On 26 September 2007, the Secretary of State issued a direction setting out the policies within the Salisbury District Local Plan 2011 that can be 'saved' beyond 26 September 2007.
The Wiltshire Core Strategy, adopted in 2015, replaced many of these saved policies. The remaining extant policies are listed at Appendix D of the Wiltshire Core Strategy (PDF, 283 KB)(opens new window) and will be replaced as part of the Local Plan Review.
Until replaced, these saved policies will still be used to inform decisions on planning applications within the area of Wiltshire relating to the previous administrative boundary of Salisbury District Council.
The following documents comprise the original direction from the Secretary of State and accompanying letter, a schedule of policies saved in 2007 and lists of policies saved and not saved at that time.
