Section 58 Notice of Substantial Road Works

1.       Three months advance notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to carry out substantial road works.

2.       The street in which these works will take place is: Church Street, Steeple Ashton; The work is expected to affect the entire carriageway of Church Street, Steeple, Ashton from its junction with the High Street to the end of the road and from its junction with The Strand; coordinates 390556,157032 to 390680,157107 and 390645,157074 to 390654,156943.

3.       Work is expected to commence on 24/10/2022 and the restriction will come into force on the 27/10/2022.

4.       The works notified will include the following: Carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance works.

5.       Subject to the exemptions in the Acts and Regulations under it, no road or street works may be executed for a period of two years from completion of the works described in Paragraph 4 without the consent of the said highway authority, which is not to be unreasonably withheld.
