General information
A parish poll is run slightly differently to an election, as the following statutory rules apply:
- polling hours are 4pm to 9pm
- in-person voting only
- no poll cards
- no postal votes
- no proxy voting
- voter ID is not required
- the results of a parish poll are not legally binding
