Section 58 - High Street, West Lavington

New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Section 58, Notice of Substantial Road Works

1. Three months advance notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to carry out substantial road works.
2. The street in which these works will take place is: High Street, West Lavington; The work is expected to affect the entire Carriageway of: High Street, West Lavington from its junction Rutts Lane to approximately 22 meters from its junction with Cheverell Road. Coordinates 400106,153820 - 400744,152855.
3. Work is expected to commence on 14/02/2024 and the restriction will come into force on the 09/03/2024.
4. The works notified will include the following: Carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance works.
5. Subject to the exemptions in the Acts and Regulations under it, no road or street works may be executed for a period of two years from completion of the works described in Paragraph 4 without the consent of the said highway authority, which is not to be unreasonably withheld.
