New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Section 58, Notice of Substantial Road Works

Three months advance notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to carry out substantial road works.
The street in which these works will take place is: C50, Calne Without; The work is expected to affect the entire Carriageway of: C50, Calne Without, from its junction with A4 Quemerford to its junction with Blacklands Crossroads. Coordinates 401663,169660 - 401584,168648
Work is expected to commence on 08/04/2024 and the restriction will come into force on the 19/04/2024.
The works notified will include the following: Carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance works.
Subject to the exemptions in the Acts and Regulations under it, no road or street works may be executed for a period of two years from completion of the works described in Paragraph 4 without the consent of the said highway authority, which is not to be unreasonably withheld.
