Section 58 - Winterslow Road, Porton

New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Section 58, Notice of Substantial Road Works

Three months advance notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to carry out substantial road works.
The street in which these works will take place is Winterslow Road, Porton. The work is expected to affect the entire footway of: Winterslow Road, Porton from a distance of approximately 60 metres from its junction with Styles Close for approximately 200 metres in a south easterly direction. Coordinates 419169,136353- 419013,136478.
Work is expected to commence on 14 May 2024 and the restriction will come into force on 22 May 2024.
The works notified will include the following: Footway resurfacing and associated maintenance works.
Subject to the exemptions in the Acts and Regulations under it, no road or street works may be executed for a period of two years from completion of the works described in Paragraph 4 without the consent of the said highway authority, which is not to be unreasonably withheld.
