New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Section 58, Notice of Substantial Road Works

Three months advance notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to carry out substantial road works.
The streets in which these works will take place are: A30 Shaftesbury Road, Water Ditchampton Road, Saddlers Mead and Victoria Road, Wilton. The work is expected to affect the entire carriageway of: A30 Shaftesbury Road, Wilton. from its junction with Water Ditchampton Road to a point approximately 160 meters from its junction with Shortlands. Water Ditchampton Road from its junction with A30 for approximately 20 metres in a northerly direction. Saddlers Mead from its junction with A30 for a distance of approximately 15 metres in a southerly direction. Victoria Road from its junction with A30 for a distance of approximately 10 metres in a northerly direction. Coordinates: 408328, 131251- 408535,131236.
Work is expected to commence on the 25 July 2024 and the restriction will come into force on the 10 August 2024.
The works notified will include the following: Carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance works.
Subject to the exemptions in the Acts and Regulations under it, no road or street works may be executed for a period of two years from completion of the works described in Paragraph 4 without the consent of the said highway authority, which is not to be unreasonably withheld.
