Section 58 - St Aldhelm and Burnham Road, Malmesbury

New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Section 58, Notice of Substantial Road Works

Three months advance notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to carry out substantial road works.
The streets in which these works will take place are: St Aldhelm Road and Burnham Road, Malmesbury. The work is expected to affect the entire carriageway of: St Aldhelm Road and Burnham Road, Malmesbury from its junction with Old Alexander to its junction with St Mary Street. (Coordinates 392721, 187787 to 393019, 187530).
Work is expected to commence on the 03 October 2024 and the restriction will come into force on the 11 October 2024.
The works notified will include the following: Carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance works.
Subject to the exemptions in the Acts and Regulations under it, no road or street works may be executed for a period of two years from completion of the works described in Paragraph 4 without the consent of the said highway authority, which is not to be unreasonably withheld.
