Refugee Resettlement and Migration Service - Community Grants Fund
The Refugee Resettlement & Migration Service (RRMS) aims to support vulnerable refugee families in Wiltshire and consists of multiple schemes, such as:

- UK Resettlement Scheme (UKRS)
- Afghan Relocations & Assistance Policy (ARAP)
- Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme (ACRS)
The RRMS Community Grants Fund is keen to support projects that allow families to rebuild their lives and fully integrate into their community. - Projects must not duplicate services already delivered by education/training providers, VCSE organisations and other partners/projects in the County
- Maximum application of £5000 per project
- Maximum of 1 application per group, per annum

Application process
- Applicants are encouraged to discuss their application with the RRMS in advance by emailing refugees@wiltshire.gov.uk (opens new window) FAO Laura Salter, Senior Development Officer, RRMS.
- To be considered for a funding award, please submit your application via the Community Area Boards Grants Portal (opens new window) noting RRMS Community Grants Fund in the Project Name field.
- The system guides applicants through the process as the short application form is completed. Applications can be saved at any stage and returned to later.
- Once submitted, applicants will be notified via email on next steps or whether further information is required.
- Applications aim to be reviewed within 4 weeks of submission.
- Funding decisions will be made by the RRMS in consultation with relevant Wiltshire Council Service leads.
- Applicants are expected to answer any further questions if required from those who allocate the funding awards.
- Successful applicants are required to accept the terms and conditions of the grant via e-mail. The grant can only be drawn down when all award criteria have been met e.g. matched funding is in place and the project is ready to process within three months of receiving the award.
- A project evaluation survey will be issued to each successful applicant. Failure to complete the survey will prevent applications for future funding.
Any questions regarding the above criteria or the application process should be directed to refugees@wiltshire.gov.uk (opens new window) FAO Laura Salter, Senior Development Officer, RRMS.
This funding pot is limited and once allocated will no longer be available (subject to future review). When applying for a grant you will be using the Area Board grants portal, therefore please ignore any specific references to the Area Board.
