The Revenues and Benefits telephone lines will be closed until 2pm on Tuesday 6 February 2024. There will be no in-person support available at County Hall or Monkton Park on Tuesday 6 February 2024. Normal operating hours of 9am to 12 noon will resume on Wednesday 7 February 2024.
The Local Welfare Provision (LWP) service will be open from 2pm to 5pm only on Tuesday 6 February 2024.
If you require support on Tuesday 6 February, you will need to telephone the Benefits Team between 2pm to 5pm on 0300 456 0110.  Any emails sent to the dedicated LWP email address lwp@wiltshire.gov.uk (opens new window) will not be responded to until after 2pm.

Help in a crisis

Local welfare provision (LWP)providing support to people in crisis. The LWP scheme provides critical short-term help and assistance with limited one-off household goods.

Household Support Fund (HSF)

The Household Support Fund (HSF) has been put in place to support households that would otherwise struggle to buy food, pay essential utility bills, or meet other essential living costs during the current cost-of-living challenges, particularly those who may not be eligible for the other forms of Government support.
