Voice and Participation Service

Overview of the Voice and Participation Service

The Wiltshire Voice and Participation Service empowers individuals and communities around the county to actively engage in the decision-making processes and to amplify their voices.

Our service is skilled in building relationships, and embedding meaningful co-production within the services that Wiltshire Council offers. Our service achieves this using a 'one council' approach. Whereby we work closely alongside all stakeholders to ensure that services users are at the heart of everything we do. Our Voice workers work closely with young people and their families to ensure they are empowered as 'experts by experience' to provide invaluable feedback. In additional, our service includes a range of volunteering opportunities. These help provide our young people, who are most vulnerable, with the chance to build confidence through befriending and mentoring roles.

Overall, the service helps create inclusive environments where everyone has a chance to feel supported, contribute their views, shape outcomes, and drive positive change.
