Wiltshire Council is now engaging in a Prior Information Notice (PIN), and a Market Engagement Event, to understand the level of interest among third-party organisations to manage and operate City Hall on our behalf as a multi-purpose entertainment and cultural venue.

Prior Information Notice (PIN)

The PIN process will help the council understand the level of interest among third-party organisations to manage and operate City Hall on our behalf as a multi-purpose entertainment and cultural venue. It will also help inform us regarding the best plan to ensure the venue has a long, successful, and sustainable future.

To complete the PIN, organisations need to be registered on the ProContract portal.

The deadline for PIN returns is 5pm, 30 November 2023

Market Engagement Event - 16 November 2023

In addition to the PIN process, we are holding a Market Engagement Event at City Hall in Salisbury on 16 November 2023. This will be an opportunity for interested organisations to visit and tour the venue, at a given time, and to hear from Wiltshire Council officers on the future operation of City Hall.

Organisations wishing to register for this event should email the Arts and Funding Manager at arts@wiltshire.gov.uk (opens new window). There is a maximum of three attendees per organisation.

The following information should be provided for each attendee: 

• name
• job title
• organisation
• e-mail address

Confirmation of registration will be sent by reply, and a specific time-slot given to attend.
