Customer charter

Wiltshire Council is committed to delivering high quality services for its customers and communities.

Our staff will always try to be polite, respectful, inclusive and responsive.

In return, we expect that customers treat our employees with respect and do not display behaviour liable to cause harm or distress to staff or others.

Unwanted behaviour, including violence, intimidation, harassment, abuse and discrimination, will not be tolerated in person, on the telephone or online, and may result in any of the following actions:

  • An immediate end to service
  • Restricted future access to buildings and services
  • Reporting to the police
  • Legal action

In addition, your details may be retained for the purposes of safeguarding other staff involved in future contact with you.
