Polling stations

Although our preference would be for you to vote by post, if you wish to vote person, we will be ensuring that all polling stations are as safe as possible for you to visit. All 348 of our polling stations will be COVID-secure, with full risk assessments carried out. This means you can vote with the reassurance that your health and safety is our top priority.

Your local polling station may be different to normal. If you are voting in person, your local polling station will be printed on your poll card which will be sent out in advance of 6 May, and there will also be an online postcode checker.

If you do vote in person, there will be hand sanitiser available and one-way systems in place. Wait times may be longer and you will need to bring your own pen. We will release more information about the venues and the safety measures in place in due course.
