Westfields Sheltered Housing, Zeals, BA12 6PW. Westfields is away from the main through-fare of the village on a small council estate. There is a bus stop, PO and shop approximately half mile away. Zeals also has a GP, public house and church.

Zeals is a rural village near the Wiltshire/Somerset border, 2.2 miles west of Mere and 5 miles north of Gillingham. Mere has some amenities, and Gillingham a wide range of shopping and leisure facilities. Zeals is on a bus route to Gillingham and Salisbury. 

Westfields offers 14 single bedroomed bungalows for social rent. There is electric quantum storage heaters and the charges include a 24/7 emergency alarm line. Each bungalow has a private garden with communal lawns to the front.

Westfields has a twin guest room, communal residents' lounge, laundry facilities and gardens. There is roadside parking available. 

Westfields is on a level site and has an accessible communal toilet. There is no mobility scooter store. 

• The scheme has a very close, family like atmosphere. Residents get on well and are always helping each other out.
• I am very happy here, it is a lovely quiet area, with wonderful views out over the fields.
• Nothing is too organised, which is how we like it as we can lead our own lives without too much interference and schedules!
• We are happy to organise our own activities, as quite a few of us have cars.
