Leisure centres reopening
The government guidelines allow gym and swimming to return from 12 April - but indoor group exercise classes will not be available until at least Monday 17 May.
Some outdoor group exercise classes, weather permitting, with a capacity of 15 people per class, will be provided at many centres from 12 April to 16 May and details of these can be found at each leisure centres fitness timetable page.
Swimming lessons for children will restart at all swimming pools, however, if your child's lesson was not planned to resume in January, it will remain frozen when we reopen. Adult swimming lessons are not permitted to resume when we reopen.
Gymnastics lessons for children will resume at Five Rivers and Springfield from 12 April, and start at Marlborough from 19 April.
Some racket sports will be available at some leisure centres, in line with playing guidelines issued by England Squash and Badminton England, according to restrictions on use due to sports halls / squash courts being used as vaccination centres, alternative fitness areas.

Swimming
All sessions will need to booked online prior to arrival
Please arrive dressed ready to swim with your costume / shorts on underneath your clothes
No changing room facilities will be available on the way into the swimming pool
You will be allocated a place on poolside for your belongings during your swim session
After your session, changing room facilities will be available for you to change, although no showers will be available at this time.
Fitness and group exercise classes
Group exercise classes will not be available until Monday 17 May at the earliest as per the government guidelines.
Some outdoor classes are being provided at most leisure centres from Monday 12 April to Sunday 16 May. These will be free for Life Zone members, £3 for all other members and £4 for non-members. You can find the timetables for these programmes via the leisure centre homepages.
Booking can be made online for these outdoor classes from Monday 5 April
In the event of bad weather forcing a cancellation of any of these classes, customers will be offered a transfer of your booking to another class in the first instance and we will make every effort to notify you in good time if this is the case.
Tennis
Now available to book online at Springfield Community Campus in Corsham and Nadder Centre in Tisbury
Badminton
Will be available at Five Rivers Health and Wellbeing Centre (Salisbury), Springfield Community Campus (Corsham), Calne Community Campus, The Vale Community Campus (Pewsey) and Nadder Centre (Tisbury). Limited courts are also available at Marlborough Leisure centre. Please see information from Badminton England on guidance for players to keep safe.
From 12 April, courts can only be used by same household bookings for singles or doubles play. From 17 May at the earliest, the rule of 6 or two households applies for singles or doubles play.
Courts will need to be booked directly with the centre and are not available to book online.
Squash
Will be available at Five Rivers Health and Wellbeing Centre (Salisbury) and Amesbury Sports Centre.

Swimming lessons
Lessons will continue as they were when lockdown started in January - further details will be provided to you in due course.

Gymnastics lessons
Lessons will continue at Five Rivers starting from Monday 12 April. Your direct debit will start in May with adjustments made accordingly.
Lessons at Springfield will start week commencing Monday 12 April and at Marlborough week beginning Monday 19 April. Your direct debit will start in May and adjustments made accordingly.
Lessons at Tidworth will not start back immediately as the sports hall is currently unavailable for use.
Other
All other services are not available at this time, including birthday parties, crèches, cafés, squash, and health suites, where applicable.
All sessions must be pre-booked to help us manage numbers.
Registering for an online account
If you have not registered to book online you will need your leisure card number, postcode, date of birth and your email address. Once registered, you'll receive an activation email and you can then log on and book your activities.
How to book
If you have a registered account then you can simply log on, click into 'classes' for gym, swim and group exercise classes or 'activities' for racket sports, choose the leisure centre you wish to use and the date.
Select the session you wish to book and follow the steps to complete your transaction. There is a step by step guide below.
Members may add a non-member to their booking - please see the step by step guide for further details.
Online booking is available for non-members up to 2 days in advance. You will need to provide your details during the booking process to complete the booking - please see the step by step guide below for information. Please note - gym sessions will be viewable in search, but gym bookings by non-members is not allowed.
A 'No Show' trial will start from Monday 3 May at all leisure centres - this is aimed at increasing the number of available spaces in sessions and reducing the number of spaces that are booked and not used. It was trialled successfully at Springfield Community Campus and Devizes Leisure Centre before Christmas 2020.
Members who fail to cancel a booking will incur a £3 penalty and until this is cleared from your account, you will be unable to make further bookings. During the trial period this charge will be waived at reception once you make contact with the centre.

There are a number of actions that we have taken, and will continue to take daily, to help ensure that the centre is a safe environment for you to visit.
We have carried out a comprehensive COVID-19 risk assessment at each leisure centre and put in place a number of measures to ensure that the health and safety of staff and customers is our number one priority.
All users of the building are required to wear a face covering in communal areas such as reception, corridors and changing rooms. You will not need to wear a face covering while exercising. Other measures in place include:
Protective screens will be in place in reception areas
Social distancing measures must be followed at all times - there will be clear signage in place
Please use the hand sanitisers at each centre on arrival and when you leave
Please clean down gym and exercise equipment with the cleaning materials provided before and after use
Wash your hands thoroughly and regularly
Centre staff will thoroughly clean equipment between each 45-minute session
All sessions will have reduced capacities in place to ensure social distancing
If you, or any member of your household, has symptoms; a high temperature, a new continuous cough and / or a loss of taste or smell, please do not visit the leisure centre. You must self-isolate and follow on how to get a test.
Please do not come to the centre if you, or anyone in your household, are feeling unwell, or have recently had any symptoms of COVID-19, as per government guidelines. Follow government guidance on how to get a test and self isolate.
During your visit to us, we ask that you continue to respect all staff and other customers, adhere to social distancing guidelines and be responsible for ensuring that you clean the equipment that you use while at the centre. Cleaning and sanitisation products will be available to you in all areas.
Please wipe down equipment before and after use in the gym
We have been asked by the government to collect details and maintain records of staff, customers and visitors on the premises to support NHS Test and Trace. We will keep a secure record of customers name, when they arrive/leave, what they are attending the centre for i.e. what activity or who they are here to see and a contact for them.
This information will be recorded within our booking system for those attending activities that are bookable. We will normally destroy information held in relation to Test and Trace after 21 days, as recommended by the Government. However as this is the same information already held for other purposes, it will continue to be retained and used for those purposes.
This information will only be passed on to contract tracers upon request and will not be used for any other purpose.
We are encouraging everyone who comes to our buildings to share this information with us, but it is not compulsory. If you chose to not provide this data please notify us and we will record your visit omitting your name and contact.
