Walking sports programme
Walking sports are traditional sports played at a slower, walking pace. This means they are accessible to older people, people who thought they could never play again due to injury, age or medical condition or people that have never played before but would like to start something social, fun and enjoyable.
Since 2014 Wiltshire Council has worked with Wiltshire FA and local partners to deliver walking football sessions around the county. Playing the game at walking pace is a fantastic way to keep fit, it reduces the chance of injury and falls and also is a great way to meet new and like-minded people.
For latest news, information and updates have a look at the Wiltshire Walking Football on Facebook page.
