MyWilts online reporting

You can download MyWilts on any device with an internet connection, including smartphones and tablets.

If your device has at least iOS 16 or Android 10, you can download the free app from the App Store (Apple) (opens new window) or Google Play (Android) (opens new window) by searching for 'MyWilts'. You can also use MyWilts in your web browser MyWilts online reporting (opens new window).

Sign in to MyWilts by clicking the 'Sign in or register' icon.

If you don't have an account, you need to register before signing in. Registering keeps you updated on the progress of your cases and allows you to add your own updates.

Once signed in, you can edit your profile settings, such as your name, address and phone number. Just select 'Account' and then 'Profile settings'.

You can change your password by selecting the 'Forgot your password?' option on the 'Sign in or register' screen. Selecting this option will take you through the password reset process.

Select the 'Report an issue' or 'Report' icons to view the issues that can be reported through MyWilts.

You can also use the 'Search' icon to find specific issues to report.

Once you select your issue, a form will open and you can provide details of the issue. 

You can save a draft of your report and submit it later when it's convenient for you. This lets you start a report even when you're offline. 

You can report issues such as:

• potholes
• issues with drainage, gullies and manholes
• fly-tipping
• issues with public rights of way
• issues with grass, hedges and shrubs
• issues with pavements and kerbs

If you're experiencing an issue after selecting what you're reporting, uninstall and then reinstall the app. 

If you're signed in to your account, you can see the cases you've previously raised. Select 'My cases' to see all your existing cases. You can filter, search and sort your cases.

In 'My cases' you can choose to see your cases in a list or on a map. The map shows where in Wiltshire you've reported issues. 

If the status of your case hasn't updated, you can add a note to request an update. 

MyWilts allows you to provide feedback or report issues with the app. Select the 'Help' icon to open a form where you can ask for help or provide feedback.

If you no longer require access to MyWilts, you can delete your account. This can be performed by selecting 'Account' and then 'Delete account'.  Cases you've previously raised won't be deleted, but you will no longer have access to them.

Wiltshire Council is the data controller for the personal information you provide in MyWilts. The council's Data Protection Officer can be contacted by email at dataprotection@wiltshire.gov.uk (opens new window).

• as a registered user of the MyWilts system Wiltshire Council will collect your data including your email and physical address if you choose to submit these. We will use these to provide you with updates on your cases and to contact you if required.
• by submitting your personal data, you are indicating to us that you agree to this.
• your data will be stored securely where it can be viewed, and shared where necessary, by our staff and partners including Wiltshire Town and Parish councils, suppliers, or our contractors to resolve your cases. Where required, information may be shared with other local authorities to resolve cases. 
• we will not share your data with any other third parties unless we are required or permitted to do so by law.
• we will not share your information with any other organisations for marketing, market research or commercial purposes.
• we may pass on your personal information if we have a legal obligation to do so. This includes exchanging information with other Wiltshire Council departments for other lawful purposes.
• Wiltshire Council is registered as a data controller (opens new window) with the Information Commissioner's Office.
• if you are a registered user of MyWilts and wish to de-register, you can do this at any time using the De-register option in the MyWilts menu. Any reports submitted will be anonymised once this process has been completed.
