Further live public webinar on the Future Chippenham distributor road route options

A further online public webinar is being held next week to encourage residents and businesses to find out more about the consultation on the Future Chippenham distributor road route options.

Taking place on Thursday 11 February 2021 at 7pm, the live webinar will be broadcast via Microsoft Teams.

People interested in attending can register via Eventbrite (opens new window). Once registered a link will be sent to access the webinar.

During the webinar members of the Future Chippenham programme team will be available to explain the distributor road route options in more detail and to answer questions people may have.

Questions about the Future Chippenham distributor road route options consultation can be submitted in advance by emailing futurechippenham@wiltshire.gov.uk (opens new window) stating 'Questions for webinar 11 Feb' in the heading.

Richard Clewer, Deputy Leader of Wiltshire Council, said: "There is a lot of interest in this consultation and it is not surprising that people have questions about the proposals. Our webinars provide an opportunity for these questions to be answered by the programme team and our next one is taking place in the evening so those people who have commitments during the day can take part. All questions raised will be responded to either during the webinar or in writing afterwards.

"We are also arranging an additional webinar which will allow more time for questions and answers and we will confirm a date for this shortly. We would encourage people to take part and ask their questions so they can comment on the proposals."

The webinars will be recorded and made available on the council's YouTube channel (opens new window).

Hard copies of the consultation material and consultation form can be requested from Customer Services on 0300 456 0100 or can be collected from the reception desk at the Monkton Park office, Monkton Hill, Chippenham SN15 1ER.
