Join our live public webinar on the Future Chippenham distributor road route options

Residents and businesses are encouraged to find out more about the consultation on the Future Chippenham distributor road route options by attending an online public webinar next week.

Taking place on Thursday 28 January 2021 at 11am, the live webinar will be broadcast via Microsoft Teams.

People interested in attending can register at Eventbrite (opens new window). Once registered a link will be sent to access the webinar.

During the webinar members of the Future Chippenham programme team will be available to explain the distributor road route options in more detail and to answer questions people may have.

Questions about the Future Chippenham distributor road route options consultation can be submitted in advance by emailing futurechippenham@wiltshire.gov.uk (opens new window) stating 'Questions for webinar 28 Jan' in the heading.

Philip Whitehead, Leader of Wiltshire Council, said: "Since launching the consultation a week ago many people will have watched the video, about 8,000 views so far, and read the consultation material and will have questions about the proposals. This first webinar presents a great opportunity for these questions to be answered by the programme team. 

"We are holding a second live webinar on Thursday 11 February at 7pm to ensure those people who have commitments during the day can also take part. Both webinars will be recorded and made available on the council's YouTube channel.

"With online webinars taking the place of public exhibitions due to COVID-19 restrictions, we hope as many people as possible will join us. It is important people have access to as much information as possible so they can comment on the proposals."

Hard copies of the consultation material and consultation form can be requested from Customer Services on 0300 345 0100 or can be collected from the reception desk at the Monkton Park office, Monkton Hill, Chippenham SN15 1ER.

The consultation closes at 5pm on Friday 12 March 2021.
