Southwick Neighbourhood Development Plan referendum - change of polling station venue
Vote for the Neighbourhood Development Plan referendum at Southwick Baptist Church on Wynsome Street, not the Village Hall
For those voting in the Southwick Neighbourhood Development Plan referendum on 30 September, unfortunately were unable to use Southwick Village Hall as a polling station at short notice due to an ongoing police investigation.
Therefore, the polling station is currently located at Southwick Baptist Church, Wynsome St, Southwick, BA14 9RG from 2pm. The polls shut at 10pm and our team look forward to seeing you there.
Terence Herbert, Returning Officer for Wiltshire said:
Due to an ongoing police investigation we were informed at short notice that we couldn't use Southwick Village Hall as a polling station for the Southwick Neighbourhood Development Plan referendum. We have contingency plans in place and we were able to quickly set-up a temporary polling station at the nearby Scout Hut for part of the day.
People can now vote at Southwick Baptist Church on Wynsome Street with the polls closing at 10pm. We thank voters for bearing with us during this brief disruption.
