Information for electors voting in the General Election 2024.

A UK parliamentary election has been called for 4 July 2024. Register to vote by midnight on 18 June 2024: GOV.UK: Register to vote. The deadline to apply is 5pm on 19 June 2024 or apply to vote by proxy by 5pm on 26 June 2024: GOV.UK: Apply to vote by proxy (opens new window)

County Hall currently closed to the public

A burst water pipe has caused flooding in the basement

County Hall is currently closed due to a plant room flood which caused a power outage which is being dealt with by fire crews.

The library and reception and other services will remain closed to the public while the incident is dealt with.

We will provide updates and will advise when we can open.

People can still access services online on the usual numbers and via the other council hub buildings in Chippenham and Salisbury.
