Disruption to PCR test booking site tonight (30 September)

We've been informed by Public Health England of some disruption to the PCR test online booking portal (opens new window), which means for a short period this evening (30 September from 8pm to 11pm), you will not be able to make a booking for a test site. However, booking a home test will still be available and you will be directed to do that. The disruption is due to the portal being upgraded.

You will still be able to book a test for Friday (1 October) for the 8am - 1pm time slots as normal on the website until 8pm. After the upgrade has been completed at around 11pm further slots for Friday will be available and normal service will then resume.

Messaging will be posted on the booking website to inform people of the disruption.
