The mechanical issue that required Wiltshire Council to temporarily close its pools at Five Rivers Health and Wellbeing Centre in Salisbury has been resolved, with the pools reopening today (14 June).

The pools will reopen as follows:

  • Main pool open from 11am, including the All Welcome session and adult lessons
  • Beach pool will reopen from 3.30pm with the Aqualetes session
  • Teaching pool now reopened for swimming lessons

Customers have been advised that any swimming lessons missed as a result of the closure will be reflected in their July payment.

The issue affected the hot water and heating system at the centre.

Cllr Ian Blair-Pilling, Cabinet Member for Leisure, said: " I thank everyone for their patience and understanding while we made these urgent repairs, and I'm pleased that swim activities at the centre are fully up and running once again."
