Never stop learning at Wiltshire Libraries

Wiltshire Council libraries are encouraging residents to never stop learning during national libraries week, 3 - 9 October, through a variety of events and activities for adults and young people.

Published 5 October 2022

The varied range of events include opportunities to learn more about nature, how to get the most from the internet, how to share rhymes with your child to develop their communication skills and listening to authors sharing their passion for writing. Details of all the events taking place can be found on our website www.wiltshire.gov.uk/libraries-home or by checking our libraries social media feed @wiltslibraries (opens new window) on Twitter.

Cllr Ian Blair-Pilling, Cabinet Member for Libraries said; "Libraries Week is a week-long celebration of the nation's much-loved libraries, with a focus in 2022 on supporting life-long learning and the central role that libraries play in inspiring learning for all and helping individuals to unlock and fulfil their potential at every stage of life.

During Libraries week we have a brilliant programme of activities taking place in our libraries across the county that we hope will bring the community together to find out more about all the ways using a library empowers life-long learning. Everyone is welcome and the library is free to join."
