This month Wiltshire Council's Public Heath team are relaunching the young people's sexual health service No Worries. Posters with the new 'No Worries' branding will be appearing across the county in schools, colleges, leisure centres and doctors surgeries, explaining how to access this important service.

No Worries is a sexual health and contraception service for Wiltshire residents aged between 13-24 years. The confidential service is available at 18 participating GP surgeries and 15 pharmacies across Wiltshire. A list of participating venues can be found at Wiltshire.gov.uk/public-health-sexual-health and all participating venues display the 'We are a No Worries venue' logo.

Cllr Ian Blair-Pilling, Cabinet Member for Public Health said; "Sexual health and wellbeing is relevant throughout a person's life. The World Health Organization) definition of sexual health (opens new window) addresses not only physical health but embraces a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships.

"Our No Worries sexual health service embraces these principles and provides a confidential service for young people, offering trusted advice and support around sexual health, emergency contraception, free condoms, pregnancy testing and Chlamydia self testing kits.

"Young people don't need to be registered at a No Worries GP surgery to make an appointment.

"Look out for stickers with the new 'We are a No Worries venue' logo at participating surgeries and pharmacies and posters detailing how to find a No Worries venue in public buildings across county. A list of venues can also be found on the Wiltshire Council website."
